National City Hotel

Staff was extremely friendly. Everyone was always ready to help.

Some of the appliances for example the fridge were not working.

The location is good on main Murree road and the metro station is right in front of the hotel. Good parking space. The parking guy cleans all the cars in the morning. The price is really low The breakfast in the morning was great and the price was very reasonable. The tea was fantastic.

There was no hot water despite asking several times. The responsible guy said they turn the heater on at 7 pm and open the hot water valve at 11 pm but despite multiple requests they never opened it. There was no hot water in the morning either. There was a heater in the room but it was only turned on after requesting. The bathroom window could not be closed and the room was noisy and cold because of it. Be aware that the hotel is right on a very noisy street and it's not quiet even late at night. The sink drained right onto the floor. The toilet had a perpetual leak. No soap was provided and I had to get my own from an outside store. After complaining to the manager they sent two bars of very low quality soap. The towels were old and torn. No shampoo or anything else. Overall hygiene was very poor and the floor had hair on it.

Mr Yasar specially to mention and his team at reception was very good and pleasant. Whenever I asked any help from Mr Yasar even off duty also he was fulfilling the needs.

Corridors were noisy as morning cleaning staff etc and even guest children used to make very loud noise while talking which I complained also.. This part should be addressed by management.
