Cathedral Hill Hotel

Very unsafe and dirty

Honestly, its a nice place for what you pay. You are not in the cleanest of neighborhoods, but the hotel itself is clean and the staff there are friendly. We were within walking distance of wherever we needed to go, and having an underground parking lot was extraordinarily handy. The biggest problem we had, however, was with the actual booking process. I booked a listing from hotels.com for a room with 2 king beds, and when we arrived we were told they were actually sold out of that room and placed us in a much smaller one, packed with a rollaway bed. Room was clean, staff friendly, responsive, and always available. Good value!

The place is not very attractive, not very clean. Location is ok if you have a car. Not the best if traveling with kids.

Very large room, clean, quiet, comfortable bed, does the job.

I'd add a comfortable armchair or couch and a bit of artwork on the walls to tamper the institutional feel.

The guy at the reception at night shift was so helpful and kind.

The Hispanic reception woman in the morning was unfriendly. Parking spot isn’t secured. THEY STILL DID NOT RETURN MY DEPOSIT!

The best rate for a San Francisco downtown location motel. Convenience to any part of the city. City Hall and SF Asian Art museum are just few blocks away.

Exactly what I expected and that's never a bad thing!

Ima write a very honest review, San Francisco is a nice place but mission where they are located is not good, I would really think about staying here. Just make sure when you are there don't leave anything in your car because they're notorious for breaking in. Overall if you take the bad out of it it is a nice decent area and there's a lot of good places to visit with nice people around, if you want to go be adventurous.
