Had our bathroom flooded on first morning, seemingly by someone in the upstairs room showering.

Location was good for old town, elevator and aircon is effective, shared kitchen is big - and that's about all that can be said for good points. We used this as a 2 night stopover to explore the town and for an early morning flight.

Room was very compact, though advertised as deluxe double. Absolutely no sound proofing, we could hear conversations next door, and guests walking upstairs and downstairs and along corridors at all hours. Roof terrace was basic, tired furniture and laundry left lying around to dry. Rooftop bar was closed and used as a laundry room. Staff were civil but otherwise uninterested; they gave us basic information on getting into the building, we had to work out everything else ourselves: WiFi codes, using aircon, terrace location etc. We were charged 10 euros to store 2 small rucksacks before check-in time of 4pm.

The location was amazing. The communal areas of the hotel were clean and welcoming in terms of style. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The air-conditioning worked very well. The shower was strong.

We were given 3 very dirty towels on the first day, i honestly thought one of them was a dloor rag that they'd accidentally given us, and the other two had blood and mascara stains on them. We went to reception to have them changed, there was nobody there. So we left them there and sent a message to the number that was left on the desk. Nobody replied. We came back later and asked for new towels and were originally told theres nothing they could do then the young man said hed find some hanging on the roof. He brought us 2 towels that were also blood stained and had brown and black marks on them. We decided to buy our own towels. We went to the roof top bar. Turns out that was closed but we found more towels hanging there. The small shower hose doesnt stay up so you have to hold it by hand. The large shower had foundtaun of water that came directly over the shoerr door and created a pool of water. Also, the shower itself was hanging off the wall. The bed isnt practical as you cant see the tv (we didn't use it, but this hasnt been thought through) one of the lamps isnt adjustable as it was broken. There isn't much space for luggage and the room could do with a chair next to the balcony atleast. Overall the room needs some maintenance. It felt like a hostel and not a hotel. The door to the room, only opens by half which was difficult to use with luggage.
