Just good service all around.

We opted for the “cold” breakfast, not realising this was packaged items and “do it yourself porridge pots” left on a counter at the end of the corridor. No table in the room meant balancing on the bed or one chair to consume any of the unappetising items. We were booked for two nights, but the room was not serviced after the first night, so all of the packets from the “breakfast” used cups had not been removed. The bed remained unmade and the bathroom not cleaned. Some of the curtains were dangling and were very thin letting in the early morning light at mid June.

Excellent value for money fo a short stay.

Lovely big bedroom and the bed was super comfortable. Leanne and her team were amazing, they went over and above for us. Food was delicious and big portions. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

Lovely place to stay. Room was clean and had everything you need. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. All that at very reasonable price. What's not to like?

Very friendly owners who just happen to be self taught cooks that served us the best food weve eaten in years.

We booked into the mooring hotel for a couple of days.The place was perfect as we were going to beamish museum . From the moment we booked in the owners and staff were so friendly they couldn’t do enough for you . The accommodation was perfect exactly what we wanted. We had our own outdoor space .We went to the restaurant for evening meal and the food was delicious and large portions as well.Breakfast was great as well cold and hot food cooked when ordered. The owners were lovely were never to busy for a chat . We will definitely be back and bringing my elderly parents along with us to.
