Gorgeous cliff top view of the sea from hotel room. Same amazing view from the dining room at breakfast. Continental only but we found it satisfying. We stayed in a room in the first floor which had up to date decor. Comfortable beds. A little bit of dust in places but you cannot completely remove all dust. I would say that you need a car to access south beach. Overall we were happy during our one night stay.

The hotel is dated, room was comfortable but nothing special, continental breakfast very basic not much selection, location great. £61 1 night for 2. 12/01/25 can’t grumble at that price, so if its a budget hotel you’re after then you can’t go wrong

Great location for our purposes and helpful friendly staff. Our room was dated and in need of update and mattress was very hard. Would stay again as ideal for our purpose of catching up with local friends.

the place is dirty and in need of doing up ive nevery stay anywere so dirty, the place smelt like it was a nursing home for the elderly payed for sea view was put over the bar which you could see the sea over all the rubbish bins with waste all over, had to ask for toilet roll as there was only a tiny bit in the room

Loved the hotel, restaurant and bar in-house was nice. It is definitely walking distance to everything. The castle is about 500 feet away and the Scarborough Seafront area is only a few blocks away. Best of all, it is only about half a mile from North Riding Brew Pub and their great beers.

Great location top of the bluff overlooking the beach.Easy walk to the town centre.

Perfectly located atop the cliffs & the view from my room was amazing. I could see the sea from my bed. Friendly & helpful staff. The room was clean & tidy but a little warm for my liking, which was dealt with. The en suite bathroom was spacious & included a bath to soak in after long walks. Water was lovely & hot too. Only downside was a very narrow shelf on the opposite wall to the mirror which was above the sink. I spent 2x nights there & would definitely go back. It's a great base with plenty of street parking for a very small fee via the hotel.
