Oporto City View - Wonderful Apartment

Location was quiet but near all the facilities. Apartment block was well maintained and felt secure.

The apartment is beautiful but needing some tlc. The outdoor balcony furniture was tatty and the decking was very unsteady underfoot.

I liked everything, clean and cozy rooms with showers, balcony in every room and living room. I only needed two things, my own shower and shades on balconies so thet the sun doesn't wake me up and I got it all and so much more. And I am coming back

Before booking I was reading negative comments and I was LOL. Yes, when you walk you hear wooden floors because guess what, they are wooden. Yes, it is on third floor without elevator so guess what, you need to walk all that stairs with heavy suitcases. Yes, it is not the newest. And it all says in description, you don't need to write shitty comments if you can not read. And guess what, you are in Porto, breathe, relax, take it easy, feel the flow of Porto and enjoy the fullest, don't look too much in things that really don't matter at all

We stayed for three nights. Two seniors, two young adults. The apartment is spacious, generally quiet, and well located. Two bathrooms made everything easier. The kitchen was well equipped, including a washing machine, a dishwasher, and utensils to cook breakfast. The communication with the managing company was quick and efficient. We had an incident when picking up the keys (the company’s fault – described below), but they had a nice commercial gesture afterwards to compensate us for the trouble.

We received instructions for picking up the keys at a different location (we arrived on a Sunday evening), but the keys were not there, because the person in charge simply forgot about it, or so I was told by the company. We had to call them and wait for a representative to come to give us the keys. One of the reasons why we chose this apartment was because it lists two BIG double beds in the description, as opposed to other options on Booking which offer just regular double beds. We were, thus, reasonably expecting big double beds, but they're actually 140cm, perhaps 160cm tops in one of the rooms. The information offered is not correct. The apartment has ACs in the rooms, which can be used for heating, but it may not be enough for some people, and the living room was generally cold during our stay. The floor does creak quite a bit in the bedrooms, as mentioned in other comments.
