Châtonneyre Hotel & Restaurant

The staff were friendly, most spoke good English, and were diligent in changing sheets and towels without me requesting a change. The food was also good; breakfast was typical Continental, with plenty of ham, cheese, and fruit. The individual pots of fresh fruit salad were delicious! Staff were also on hand to top up the coffee when required. The dinners were also of a high standard, but the menu didn't change while I was there.

Although I booked a single room (Room 37), it was possibly the smallest single room I have ever had in a hotel! There was also a lack of ventilation due to the room being a dormer on the 3rd floor and only having a singlr Velux window, which had to be shut if it was raining. However, a fan maintained some circulation, but I found that I needed to keep it on all night, not ideal! The bathroom was also small and needed updating, particularly the shower which had an enamel base and was very slippery when wet. Also, there were times when the water pressure became nonexistent, usually when you had just washed your hair! The extraction fan didn't seem to be working and as a result of the poor ventillation, some unpleasant odours could develop.

Lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean and peaceful. We had a partial lake view in room 35. No air-conditioning but a fan was provided. The location is in a village and not in central Vevey but we had a hire car so this wasn't a problem. Car parking is possible on site. We didn't use the restaurant but breakfast was delicious. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and spoke enough English, too. The small lift was a welcome surprise.

L esmorzar el millor del hotel, doncs al matí encara no feia molta calor i era agradable la terrassa.

Dilluns i dijous no tenen recepció, nosaltres varen arribar dilluns i no teniem cap codi per entrar al hotel, sort de uns altres hostes que varem coincidir que entraven, teniem la documentació i la clau al entrar al hotel, com que varem marxar un dijous per tornar la clau i pagar les taxes vaig haber de buscar algú per la cuina. També varem estar de mala sort de coincidir amb dies de forta calor, dormiem al ùltim pis sota teulada i era practicament imposible de dormir per la calor, l hotel no está preparat i no te aire acondicionat, em vaig queixar cada dia i sempre em varen dir que em portarien un altre ventilador però no va arribar mai. Ja per acabar l'adressa de Booking no es correcta diu que l hotel es a Vevey i es a Corseaux, amb lo que el navegador no trobava l hotel.

Emplacement au calme, idéalement situé entre Vevey centre et le vignoble. Accès facile en voiture. Parking gratuit. Bon petit déjeuner
