Rhino Guest House

We were doing bike touring and had to leave our luggage at the accommodation prior to our visit. The staff happily obliged. The room was well equipped and had a fantastic balcony with ample hangers to dry our clothes after the tour. Amenities were extremely functional and clean.

Near bus and train stations, clean and tidy with nice facilities.

Not close to city centre, need to take taxi to night markets

The room was as pictured. It was very big and felt like a home. My kids had a great time there. It’s very close to the train station and the bus stop into town was across the street. There are also plenty of places to eat a short walk away.

This hotel is a real gem. There are only a handful of rooms, so snap one up if you can. Incredibly clean and spacious. One of the nicest places we’ve stayed in.

Location was good, near the main station. Room was spacious, shower worked well, and there was a balcony too that faced the back of the building. Communication and checkin was efficient. Good value.

Although it was convenient to stay near the station, it meant we were maybe a 15 minute walk from the main centre with more choices for food. If we were staying in Hualien again for longer we would probably choose somewhere closer to the centre and get a taxi from the station.

Maybe a few too many glowing lights from devices in the room, can be easily fixed by wearing an eye mask.
