St. Clair Inn

Very nice area and views / scenery

Air conditioning did not work and shower wasn’t clean. It had wods of hair in the shower from previous guests. We wasn’t informed about the air not working until we had to ask why it was 76 degrees in out room

The staff were all great, we had a bite in the Dive Bar before we went to the Boardwalk theater and it was fine; nothing special but fine (we just had soup and the very generous artichoke dip.) The view is lovely on the river. Afterwards we came back and had a drink in the Prohibition room, which was beautifully decorated for Halloween - very classy. Wait staff was great. Took our drink back to the Dive to watch the end of the football game.

Our room was well appointed and very clean, with a great view of the river. but very small, reminded us of a cruise ship room. This was disappointing considering the price. However, the pretty cathedral ceiling helped a lot. We were surprised there is no breakfast available; there is coffee service in the lobby.

The hallways were bare. It needs pictures on the wall and chairs or couch’s. The bar needs to be open more days than just Friday and Saturday..

The air could not be lowered in our rooms. It was hot during the night.

Great view. Sound proof room . Good coffees.

Breakfast staff good. Food terrible.

Enjoyed the location and room view. I would have used the "Dive" bar for a late snack, unfortunately it was filled with several family's until closing @9pm (which seemed a little early)

Stairs were a little steep for an old guy like me. This is somewhat expected in a historic hotel.
