It's always great staying at The crown lodge. The rooms are comfortable and the staff always go above and beyond. The atmosphere is great and it's always a great welcome with lovely food too.

The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The meals in the restaurant were very good and we were particularly impressed by the range of choices on the breakfast menu and by the fact that everything was cooked to order rather than being left under heat lamps for hours on end. The room itself was nicely presented and very clean and there was a good range of drinks available including hot chocolate.

The room we were given was at the top of a fairly steep flight of stairs with no lift access and the door to our room did not seem to fit properly as light from the corridor was visible all night.

Lovely comfortable clean rooms. My room was nice and quiet. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was delicious!

The other room was next to the road with constant traffic.
