Hotel Tabáa Oaxaca

This is a good place to stay if all you care about is having a decent place to sleep and shower. There are no amenities and no Oaxacan hospitality. In fact, staff do not greet you in the morning or night unless you greet them first. In the positive side, beds were comfortable and shower was warm.

Very cool, modern Oaxacan vibe!

A beautiful hotel with attention to detail, lovely rooms, and a sweet house cat named Agatha. Great location, everything was within walking distance. We had a great experience here! When we arrived at the hotel, I was feeling very unwell, the owner and his daughter Jimena were incredibly kind and helpful. They offered to call someone at a hospital in Oaxaca, where they know the owner, and made sure I received treatment with no waiting time at all. We felt at home and very well taken care of.

The hotel is walking distance to the city center and in a very safe area

Brand new boutique hotel with spacious rooms and bathrooms providing plenty of towels, toiletries, filtered water, breakfast and aircon. The bed mattress was firm and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and friendly and we loved the hotel house cat. The walk into the town centre takes 5-10 minutes. Make sure to visit nearby restaurants and cafes La Toscana, Boulenc Cafe, Lechoncito de Oro taco stand and pre book dinner at Crudo.

Laundry facilities would have been handy.

This is my third time staying at Tabaa. This is a family run hotel and you can really tell. The service is professional and friendly and incredibly attentive to your needs. The rooms are spacious and filled with light, and you really feel like you're in Oaxaca. The location is great. Close to walk anywhere but just removed enough that is in the more quiet part of downtown.

Its a very clean hotel, the staff is good and its a very new hotel. Agata the cat, is a wonderful staff member.

The location is not that good, very noisy you can hear noises from the street and from the other rooms. The continental breakfast is very simple.

This property is centrally located in downtown Oaxaca, there’s plenty of shopping and dinning in the area. The hotel staff was professional, attentive and extremely welcoming. I would definitely consider staying at this hotel on my next visit and highly recommend to family and friends!

Perfect location, pretty much 10/15 minutes walk from most places but quiet enough for a good night's sleep. The staff were exceptional, we were unwell during one day and they got us bread and jam, made us tea and sent out for electrolyte drinks. The rooms were lovely with a great shower and were cleaned to a very high standard every day and the courtyard was lovely and peaceful. Breakfast is simple but good. There's also an onsite cat and dog!

The spa facilities don't exist yet (Nov 24) so any references to that are a bit misleading however we were informed of this before arrival.
