Hotel Tabáa Oaxaca

Good location. Nice people . Clean. Comfortable.

Stayed 6 nights in Jan of 2023 . Hotel Tabáa was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend. Rooms are well designed with everything you need for a business or vacation stay . Spotlessly clean rooms , large modern bathroom with best shower ! Toiletries , towels and linens all good quality. Very comfortable beds and the best part was double window blinds so room nice and dark for a sleep in ! Loved the guest kitchen and self serve coffee and good breakfast ! A simple luxury that is seldom encountered in a hotel . This help yourself feature really made it feel like home . Apart from being in a great neighborhood with easy walking to the main sights … the real standout is the hospitality , care and kindness from the owners and all employees . Everyone was so sweet and despite speaking fluent English they were very patient and encouraging with my rusty Spanish ! . A locked entry with 24 hr front desk provides high security . Shaded Courtyard seating and tables. As you can tell we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Tabáa .

This was a beautiful hotel! We felt safe -- the front door was always closed -- and it was a convenient walk to where we wanted to go. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again

the staff are the best part of this hotel. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Location is good if you want to be a bit out of the touristy area. It's about a 10 minute walk to the square. Breakfast is basic; help yourself style but there's a fantastic cafe around the corner and lots of nearby coffee shops. Wifi was pretty great as well.

The one thing that would make this hotel even better is a more comfortable lounge area or more hammocks for when you want to take a break from walking in the sun.

Great friendly staff and management…we met the owner and got to chat with him. It’s a small place, only 12 rooms, but very clean, nicely decorated and well thought out. Plenty of hot water, modern bathroom with nice large towels and comfortable robes.

Breakfast was self serve, toast and jam and coffee, fruit and yogurt and cereal available. I wouldn’t mind maybe some boiled eggs, cheese, pastries, fresh juice…just a slight elevation of breakfast. But it was still perfectly adequate.

staff were wonderful! took care of us after I had an accident. we’re very caring and thoughtful.

The property and the rooms were new, well set up, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Generally, the place is noisy. First, the property backs onto a construction yard of some sort. There seemed to be hammering and sawing going on every work day, starting early. Rooms open right onto the common outdoor space, so you get noise from people sitting out at the table, etc. Lastly, our room (7) had a inner door that connected to an outdoor shaft that conducted noise from other rooms that are also adjacent to the shaft.

Beautiful and peaceful hotel, the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Perfect walking distance to everything in Centro and Jalatlaco. Lovely outdoor space to have yogurt and coffee in the morning or tea in the evening. All of the staff we met were incredibly kind and helpful. Will definitely recommend to friends & family or be back again ourselves in the future!
