We booked at Pokhara Tourist Home for six nights, and loved it so much that we extended our stay to ten days. Chandra and his family were excellent hosts, so welcoming and helpful. Pokhara Tourist Home's new location is perfect for travellers looking for both convenience and relaxation. In the mornings, you can enjoy a peaceful, home cooked breakfast while enjoying the sights of Lake Fewa and the surrounding mountains from the hotel's rooftop, which offers unobstructed views. During the afternoons and evenings, it's only a short walk to the Lakeside district, where you can enjoy all of the shops, restaurants, and sightseeing the tourist area has to offer, before returning to your peaceful hotel for a great night's sleep away from the partying. If you're feeling lazy, there's a great cafe (Good Day) and a restaurant that serves Nepali and international foods (Awesome Restaurant and Bar) right on your doorstep, along with a large supermarket. Pokhara Tourist Home also has the advantage of being within walking distance to the Annapurna cable car, which I highly recommend for stunning views of the mountain range. Pokhara Tourist Home is by far the cleanest, best-kept hotel we stayed at it in Nepal. The beds are comfortable, there are hot showers and free wifi, which we found sufficient for remote work and video chat communication. The staff are highly dedicated and maintain the hotel to a much higher standard than one normally expects of a budget hotel. We booked breakfasts with our stay, and really enjoyed the variety and quality of food, ranging from banana pancakes with honey, vegetable omelettes and toast, to noodle and egg soup - perfect for those cold days. The owner makes his own cinnamon tea, which is truly delightful, and we enjoyed seeing how he collects and dries the leaves himself.

Entrance is awkward to find - it's on an alley with an entrance just east of the shops in front.

The owner's behaviour is outstanding.Also we can see the lake's northern side from the lake.

Security system should be improved.They have no cctv in the hotel premises.
