USIt was very clean and near a bus stop, station, and the shopping street. The private room didn't feel cramped and had an amazing view. It was easy to find and had a nice shared space.
The stairs going to the rooms upstairs were small so you definitely have to be careful. I wish there were bathroom/restroom slippers. The walls are thin so you can hear each other easily.
ITI like the simple style and the organization. Also the rooftop offers a great view of mouth Fuji.
Despite the fact that we put the heater on hours we went back into the guesthouse, the room was still very cold and we didn't sleep very well. Unfortunately there were not enough extra blankets.

AUAUDuring check-in, I appreciated the staff's responsiveness, as they promptly answered the intercom to facilitate a smooth and efficient process. The twin room's window and the rooftop provided an impressive view of Mt. Fuji, particularly on clear days. Moreover, the kitchen was well-equipped with a variety of appliances, including a kettle, stovetop, microwave, and more, enhancing the overall convenience and functionality of the space.
I hadn't anticipated encountering an abundance of stairs, which proved challenging given the weight of my luggage. The stairway was notably steep, and en route to the reception, there appeared to be unenclosed construction. It's worth mentioning that, if anyone has a disability, the facility is not wheelchair accessible due to the considerable number of stairs. Additionally, I observed that the staff did not offer assistance with our luggage, despite one of us visibly struggling and nearly tripping while carrying it up the stairs. Moreover, my expectations may have been shaped by other hotels I've stayed at, as 14 Guesthouse Mt. Fuji imposes charges on basic amenities like bath towels. While fees for items such as toothbrushes and toothpaste are not uncommon (and are also applicable here), I find it unusual to be charged for bath towels, which are essential for personal hygiene—especially when complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are provided.
PTVery helpful staff when they were present at the reception. Everything was very clean, the bedroom was comfortable for the four of us. Good value for money, without them we wouldn't have visited the Fuji area as everything is quite more expensive than this. Not every guest house allows kids, really happy that they allowed us.

CHVery clean and cozy environment with nice facilities. The beds are great with a lot of space for your luggage. The view from the rooftop is AMAZING!!! And very close to the train station. Overall a great place.
Slightly inconveniently located if you want to do daytrips. Just because you have to take a special train, that doesn't come very often, to get to the closest main station.
