The hotel is really great. Very clean rooms, price is really attractive. Metro station is just around the corner. Helpful staff. Reaching Manhattan only in 11 to 12 minutes using the Nr. 4 express Metro. One important note: there are several comments referring to the neighbourhood being sketchy or unsafe. This was not our experience. The neighbourhood was really fine. It’s the bronx, so maybe, it doesn’t look like the better parts of New York but I didn’t feel unsafe. Plus the metro is really around the corner from the hotel.

The breakfast could be better. I missed the scrambled eggs.

Subway with 4&5 express trains down manhattan just around the corner from the hotel. Room is compact but well thought through regarding storage. Breakfast included. First time I stayed outside of Manhattan, but thanks to the closeness to express trains it wasn’t much of a difference.

Im not a fan of the frosted glass bathroom walls, but i can see how it saved space in this compact room. The area is a bit run down, but there seems there are new developments on the way. I would have liked a little bit more choices for breakfast.

The location was convenient, being located right next to the subway station. It was fine during the day, but at night the neighborhood looked sketchy, and I would not have dared to walk around by myself.

Breakfast was very poor – basically, there were only bread, hard-boiled eggs, and coffee. It was one of the worst breakfasts I have ever had. I honestly do not understand why the staff could not have made some effort and chopped some tomatoes or cucumbers or provided some slices of cheese – it would have made a great difference. The receptionist was not able to issue a proper invoice on the day of my checkout. First, she claimed that the invoice had to be issued by Booking.com, and later she issued an invoice for a lower amount than I had paid. She explained that the hotel had to pay a fee to Booking.com and that this fee could not be included in the invoice. I have never experienced such issues with an invoice before.
