No ventilation in the bathroom so the spongy floor never dry and feels like a swamp. Also the water is pretty weak but that could be due to the room being on the highest floor.

Was absolutely as described as a work in progress, so I expected nothing but a comfortable room. The room was large and clean. It had a comfortable bed, TV, coffee and tea, plates, bowls, and cutlery. Everything one needed for a place to stay overnight. Excellent value for money.

Nothing. I got more than I was expecting.

The building is undergoing gradual renovation, but the bedroom and bathroom were clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. The room was kept for us even though our credit card had not worked through Booking.com. Unlimited tea and coffee. Although there was no catering at the Queen's Rooms, to our grateful surprise we were provided with plates, bowls, cutlery, porridge. The owner has probably had problems with smoking in rooms and destruction of bedding by takeaway - but this was dealt with in the information with great good humour. We wish them well in the continuing renovation journey.
