It was right in the heart of Kamakura, near the station, next to the main shopping district an an easy walk to the Tsurugaoka Hachimangū shrine. The hotel itself is modern, just recently built. The staff was very helpful during our stay, making recommendations for places to eat. The room was very comfortable and larger than the normal. We had a rooftop patio with a nice view of Kamakura and comfortable seating. The bath tub was in a separate room and was quite deep and luxurious.

We ate breakfast out every my as the breakfast menu was very minimal. There are many places to eat around the center of Kamakura, but on certain days some of the were closed or not opened until later. The hotel itself is a bit hard to find which is funny because it is so close to the train station. Our phone maps gave conflicting directions. (There is a hotel with a similar name right next door.) The were minor complaints, but worth noting. We would definitely book the Kamakura hotel if we were planning to visit Kamakura again.
