KAMAKURA Hotel

The property is very close to the station. The check-in restaurant bar in lobby are all the same room, which is quite unique. Because it’s such a multipurpose room the Japanese style and vibe really make it perfect. The room was a very modern yet traditional Japanese style. The staff were some of the most friendly I have ever encountered in 18 years of living in Japan. The fresh-made onigiri and miso soup breakfast was really good!

I would prefer softer pajamas? No coffee served at breakfast although they do provide the self-pour over packs in the room which were really good.

個室サウナが予約制ってことをはじめに言ってほしかった。とてもいいサウナだったので予約時間が遅くなってしまい堪能しきれなかったのが残念でした。

Spacious room. Nice traditional local breakfast.

1. Official check in is 3 pm. Room was ready at 2 pm. My luggage was already in the room but they refused to allow me into the room unless I pay ¥2,000 for early check-in. I refused! 2. Access from train station is thru a tiny dirt track with water ponding when raining!! 3. Noise from the next room is very loud!! 4. Morning Sun at the WC seat is unbearable!

Very traditional looking hotel, staffs are very courteous and friendly.

The restroom area needs more ventilation to keep dry.
