Hermiston Inn & Suites

This was the most sad and disgusting excuse of a hotel. I was traveling with 2 young children and needed a place to sleep for the night after driving for 14 hours and was extremely disappointed. Not only was there drug users clearly intoxicated and being intimidating, the hallways were just as disgusting as the rooms. If I could post the evidence along with my review I would simply to help ward others away from this listing. The floors were not clean and had obviously not been mopped in a long time. Between the dirt CAKED in the corners, squished bugs on the floors and walls, cockroach eggs in the bed along with roach skins behind the mattress and more LIVE cockroaches in the bathroom this experience was made even worse when a group of highly intoxicated adults where congregated in the hallways, shouting inappropriate and foul language until 4am. Didn't even feel clean after taking a shower as the shower was filthy as well. The area alone should have been enough to have me turning around and finding somewhere else but at 11:30pm after my child was just released from a hospital we needed to get out of the car. I have requested my money back and WILL BE contacting the health department ASAP. When I brought up the cockroaches the staff pretended to be surprised. Please please review before staying here.

Very average overall. Bedding was clean but not very comfortable. A/C worked okay but was old, raising cleanliness concerns. Furniture, especially chairs, was dirty, stained, and in need of an upgrade. Bathroom was small and only moderately okay. Staff were friendly and kind, and I understood they couldn’t process my refund due to my third-party reservation. On the other hand, OYO support promised the refund and claimed they were working on it, but have called me at least 10 times only to request a review—without making any progress on my return. Oh never got my security deposit back too.
