Feathers Hotel Bar and Restaurant

A nice touch was the mobile air fan being left running in our room, appreciated. The breakfast was exceptional quality. A good quality 'in transit' pub / hotel near to the local amenities.

It appears to be an on-going issue with TV reception as we had no TV and discovered other too.

Great location just a short walk to a lovely harbour

It’s a very old building and a bit rickety in places but that is to be expected and I would certainly use it again Staff were friendly and helpful

The loud mechanical noise that went on all night

Waren mit 4 Motorrädern unterwegs. Kostenloser Parkplatz im Hof vorhanden. Von dort auch Zugang zu den Zimmern. Zimmer sind geräumig und funktional. Personal sehr höflich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Abendessen und Frühstück sehr zufriedenstellend. Gemütlicher Speiseraum / Bar mit ordentlich Auswahl. Bis zum Strand etwa 10 Gehminuten. Hat gepasst!

Very comfortable and clean. Decoration was good and staff friendly. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

It was just what we wanted

The location was perfect to explore Aberaeron, without it being noisy. The staff were exceptionally helpful. Shout out to Carianne, Tyler, and Ray. I had help with bringing my luggage upstairs, I was permitted a late check out, and allowed to leave my luggage in the office, on my last day, so that I could continue exploring the town, before catching my bus. Breakfasts were superb, with plenty of choice and enough to keep you going until well into the afternoon. My room was lovely, comfortable bed and powerful shower ( no climbing into a bathtub, to shower, which was greatly appreciated, as I had hip surgery 20 years ago and the prosthesis is due for replacement ). There was ample room to store clothing, and I appreciated the complementary tea, coffee, etc, with the added bottle of water. The crab salad lunch I had there was delicious. As for wine, I can recommend their New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. A gem of a hotel that deserves more support, especially for lunchtime. They have plenty of outdoor seating, so in fine western, it's ideal.

I couldn't fault anything, except that during my stay, they had no real ale, in the bar, as they had a problem in the cellar with cooling.
