Love the views and that it’s surrounded by spectacular nature. Would appreciate better mattresses and a shower without red mold.

GBWhat an incredible property and location
You pay for the location, I didn't end up liking the room I booked in the out building and would pay to stay in the main building itself or the bungalows
Good place!
This was a beautiful location. This is the most beautiful lake i been.
USIt was a gorgeous property in the middle of the Olympic Peninsula. The main lobby of the lodge was really nice, with a big fire to sit by and enjoy drinks. We really liked walking out on the dock and around the various trails.
We excpected the rooms to be a little more rustic-decorated like the lobby. The only major problem was on Booking.com's side. Booking.com offered types of rooms that the property does not have, such as king sized beds.
There was no TV and no wifi...
USI stayed at Lake Crescent Lodge, Kalaloch Lodge, and Lake Quinault Lodge inside the Olympic National Park. Among these three, I personally think Lake Crescent Lodge has the best view and surroundings to explore, with the worst quality of room and amenities. So like many people have said, you are basically paying for the view, not the sleep. The room we got is kind of small, the amenities are old, and the beddings are also not very clean. The front door lock had some issue that we had to try multiple times before we could lock it. The wall is paper thin and we could hear all the moves from upstair. Thankfully we visited during the thanksgiving break so not many people were in the building. The main building in which the registration and dinning hall locates is well furnished and has a real fireplace. There is a bar in front of the dinning hall where you can get some drink (or just hot water for free like we did). The food is okayyyyyy but kind of expensive, which is understandable since you don't have much choice inside the park unless you want to drive back and forth from port angeles. Usually I would not recommend such a place for stay, but the lake view, the lake shore trail and nearby rain forest are so nice. If you come in the summer you might also boat or swim inside the lake. So, if you want to spend more time inside the park and the lake, this is a good place. Otherwise, hotels at port angeles could be better choices.
I love this lake and area. Hikes are great and the view. It is a great escape. This is my second time staying here. The first time i stayed in one of the cabins which are great. This time I was in the pyramid rooms which are not so great. Pretty dirty and moldy bathrooms. Might be one of the oldest structures. It just needs TLC. Just simple maintenance. Shower diverter did not work properly either. I will try a different room next year but definitely staying away from the pyramid rooms.
