The Crown Inn at Benson

Brilliant place to stay. Great staff, historic features, and little details that make your stay just right, the Crown is special. The room was stylish and so comfy. Breakfast by the fire in the pub downstairs was a highlight.

Great comfortable place to stay, close to our son at RAF Benson. Our third stay.

Staff were not very professional and couldn’t care less at breakfast, no juice had to ask no bread for toast, waitress shouted did we want more coffee as walking to our table, never offered any sauce with breakfast.

Very welcoming and the staff were very helpful - especially as it was Boxing Day night. The room seemed excellent. We had booked 3 rooms 2 doubles, and a twin. The doubles had spectacular old- time baths and the twin bedded room had a generously sized shower.

Lovely location and it is full of character.

From staff to customers everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Staff can’t do enough to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Rooms were spacious and well equipped.

Adequate. The 2 young girls working I the restaurant and bar were excellent and the only people managing 40 covers, one under 18 so unable to assist behind the bar. They need recognition of their hard work.

The room seemed very dated, the bedding very old fashioned, the bathroom very cramped and the shower door opening very small which made it difficult for me access easily as I am a curvy girl

Friendly staff. Nice old pub.

Very uncomfortable bed. A little noisy on a Friday and Saturday evening.
