Ideal for our overnight stay while walking the Ridgeway. Clean, comfortable and pleasant. Good food and range of ales, excellent that the premises is dog friendly. Enjoyed our stay.

"It was ok. A few tweaks with maintenance would improve dramatically."

It was in the right locale for what we needed. Free breakfast welcome. Staff all very pleasant. The provided fan was very welcome. Price was fair.

Needs some maintenance. Shower door handle broken. Sink very slow to drain. Shower very poor flow. Blind broken and unable to be raised to let in breeze on a very warm night. Dinner at the restaurant was ok. It was a first to have a deep fried chicken schnitzel. It was overdone and very dry though generous serving.
