Guestling Hall Hotel

Nice place very welcoming, nice clean room and bed, tea, coffee all in room, and staff were all very nice, which made it a laid back atmosphere.

Room was very hot in the night, and the window was a bit rickety, but better hot than cold, but not moaning.

The staff were lovely. The breakfast was lovely. The room was ok, the shower was small. Nice atmosphere, and made to feel very welcome.

Window didn't open , and rattled on the wind.

Told them two times my arrivals time, my room was 🥶, after complaining nothing done, I was sleeping all night in cold room.

Such an interesting house set in its own grounds. The reception rooms were lovely and full of interesting furniture and items from around the world. Our bedroom was well appointed with an excellent bathroom that included a long bath. Breakfast was good with a full choice of cooked items as well. The nearby road was quite busy but ear plugs were provided. Well worth a stay if you are in the area. Very dog friendly - our dog was welcomed warmly with a treat from the manager.

I think £20 for a small dog is a bit high. The mattress was too firm for me but ok for my husband
