Purtroppo la posizione la rende un po' scomoda da raggiungere, ma il servizio navetta gratuito è un grande aiuto.

Struttura senza fronzoli ma tanta sostanza. Posizione ottima per alcune spiagge raggiungibili a piedi o con pochi minuti in barca dal centro di Sant' Angelo. Servizio navetta privato e gratuito per risalire dal paese.(Preziosissimo, che ti evita una salita assai ripida). Capolinea bus a pochi minuti a piedi, da dove raggiungere ogni destinazione. Pulizia degli ambienti veramente accurata, con cambio asciugamani ogni due giorni. Letto comodo, materasso nuovo, bagno ampio e doccia con ottimo getto (una rarità in vacanza).Gestori affabili, sorridenti e veramente disponibili. Colazione varia e abbondante. Possibilità di cenare con menù diversi ogni sera. Cucina onesta e familiare. I ristoranti giù in paese non mancano, ma in alcuni ci devi lasciare un rene... Certo non è una struttura lussuosa, ma tranquilla, silenziosa, familiare ed economica, relativamente alla media dell' isola che è in generale piuttosto cara. Io e mia moglie ci siamo trovati benissimo e la consigliamo senz'altro. Un caro saluto a Teresa, Antonio e alle ragazze delle pulizie per l'ottimo lavoro e la simpatia.

Onestamente ci siamo trovati veramente bene. In più abbiamo avuto una stagione splendida e Ischia ci ha trafitto il cuore. Nessuna negatività da segnalare, se non i giorni che sono volati...

Antonio and Teresa are the kindest and the most caring hosts. The rooms are spotlessly clean and there is very well functioning air conditioning which is very much appreciated. The food in the pension is delicious. For breakfast you can choose from a menu any combination you want. Dinners are delicious, always primi piatti, secondi piatti and some fruit of your choice (the freshly picked oranges were our favourite!) and even a dolce of your choice if you didn't feel completely full by that time! The atmosphere of the place is magical. It's quiet up there, apart from chirping flocks of swallows. There are cats living around the pension that are well taken care of with love, as it should be. Some let you pet them. Again, I would like to highlight the siblings, Antonio and Teresa, for their kindness and hospitality. It is hard work to manage a pension running, but they have been doing it for many years and clearly they still do exquisite job. They are people of a good and kind heart and if you need anything they will absolutely try and help you with it. The location is great: Sant'Angelo has a special charm. It's not far from busier places like Forio, Ischia Porto or Casamicciola, as the buses circling around the island will get you anywhere quickly.

Some guests became a bit noisier toward the end of our stay, but that wasn't the accommodation's fault.

Teresa und ihr Bruder Antonio führen die Pension. Sie sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mein Doppelzimmer mit Meerblick auf der oberen Etage war so schön wie auf den Fotos. Der Blick auf Sant' Angelo war traumhaft. Mein Zimmer hatte einen größeren Balkon als die anderen. Hier empfiehlt es sich meiner Meinung nach, dieses etwas teurere Zimmer zu buchen, da der Balkon der anderen Zimmer auf der oberen Etage schon deutlich kleiner war. Das Frühstück, das ich mitgebucht hatte, war gut. Man konnte aus vielen Angeboten auswählen und bekam dies dann serviert (kein Buffet!). Abendessen (mehrere Gänge) kann man für 22 € (ohne Getränke) täglich dazubuchen, wenn man morgens Bescheid gibt. Das Tiramisu beim Abendessen war sehr lecker. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber. Täglich wurde es gereinigt, jeden zweiten die Handtücher gewechselt. Ein Strandlaken kann man kostenlos ausleihen. Ich habe gut und wunderbar ruhig geschlafen, auch wenn die Matratze härter als meine zuhause war. Mein Problem mit dem defekten Duschkopf wurde sofort behoben. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte einwandfrei und leise. Die Pension ist in der Nähe der Bus-Endstation "Cava Grado" und von daher gut gelegen, um mit dem Bus die Insel zu erkunden. Aber man muss in Kauf nehmen, dass man zur Pension auf befestigten Wegen bergauf- und bergab (teilweise steil) laufen muss. Die Pension bietet aber auch einen Fahrservice vom bzw. zum Busbahnhof und Strand. Sant'Angelo war meiner Meinung nach der schönste Ort auf Ischia, die nahegelegene kleine und ruhige Badebucht (spiaggia di cava grado) mit dem klaren und für Anfang bis Mitte Juni bereits warmen Meer (ca. 20-22 Grad) eine der schönsten auf der Insel. Die Insel selbst ist auch für Alleinreisende als sicher zu empfehlen. Die Bewohner sind stets freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Die Terrassentür hatte Lamellentüren, die praktischerweise von innen verschließbar waren. Damit war eine gute und sichere Belüftung tagsüber möglich. Fliegenschutzgitter für die Zeit ab der Dämmerung wären jedoch hilfreich. So musste man ab der Dämmerung doch die Tür wegen einiger Stechmücken schließen und die Klimaanlage zeitweise nutzen. Der Latte Macchiato zum Frühstück war teilweise heiß, manchmal aber auch nur lauwarm. (Vermutlich hätte ich aber einen heißen bekommen, wenn ich darum gebeten hätte). Das Abendessen, das ich ein paar Mal zusätzlich gebucht habe, war frisch zubereitet und grundsätzlich gut. Ich empfand es (bis auf das Tiramisu) allerdings nicht so überragend, wie es teilweise in den anderen Bewertungen beschrieben wurde. Ein kleiner Kühlschrank im Zimmer wäre toll. Mit Rollstuhl, Rollator oder Kinderwagen ist diese Pension aufgrund der Lage auf dem Berg meiner Meinung aber nur eingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

Siamo stati solo due notti ma veramente contenti! I gestori della struttura sono cordiali e disponibilissimi...la cucina è ottima, la colazione espressa piena di scelte e tutti i servizi sono puntuali: sia che si tratti dei pasti sia del servizio navetta. I pulman fanno capolinea a 10 minuti dalla struttura.

Sant'Angelo è al sud dell'isola, un borgo molto grazioso ma piccolo.

La struttura è in una posizione eccezionale. Vista la posizione panoramica, sia all'arrivo che alla partenza e in seguito a orari prestabiliti viene offerto un servizio navetta. Colazione e cena, molto buone, con servizio al tavolo. Staff molto gentile, in particolare Antonio e Teresa.
