The Best Guesthouse in Koh Rong! This place is a little slice of paradise, still wild and unspoiled. It does take a bit of walking to get there, but that’s part of the adventure! If you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the perfect spot. Private beach, a fitness area right by the water, and hammocks under the coconut trees — what more could you ask for? The owner, Daniel, is an incredible person. He deserves huge respect for this beautiful place that he imagined and built over several years. He promotes strong ecological values, with deep respect for nature and animals, which truly makes a difference. The accommodations are great. Showers are taken with a bucket of water, and the toilets come with a beach view — you really couldn’t hope for better! The beach is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and never crowded. If you feel like exploring underwater, you can go snorkeling and it’s definitely worth it (equipment rental is $2 per day). The restaurant serves vegetarian and vegan food (with meat options available), but if you want to fully respect the spirit of this place, try to embrace the host’s values. There is no Wi-Fi or internet connection on this side of the island, but we promise — the digital detox is absolutely worth it.
