Africa Safari Arusha

We had a wonderful stay at Africa Safari Arusha Lodge and could not have wished for a better start to our Tanzania adventure. The lodge is beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. Everything was spotless, and the gardens and surroundings are lovely. What really made our stay special was the incredibly warm and friendly staff. Everyone made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent throughout our stay. We enjoyed several local dishes, including beef curry, pilau rice, fresh salads, and delicious juices. A nice touch is that many ingredients come directly from the lodge's own garden, which makes everything taste extra fresh. The service exceeded our expectations. Every morning the staff kindly offered to prepare fresh omelets or fried eggs exactly how we liked them. The housekeeping team did an excellent job every day, keeping our room perfectly clean and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was getting to know the staff. They were always happy to have a chat, share stories, and teach us a few Swahili words and phrases. As first-time visitors to Tanzania, we really appreciated these small interactions, which made our experience feel even more authentic and memorable. The lodge was the perfect place to relax before starting our safari. We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, watched colorful birds and squirrels, and simply slowed down for a few days. We were also pleasantly surprised by how few mosquitoes there were during our stay. A special thank you to the staff for their kindness and hospitality. We truly felt looked after and appreciated every moment here. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend Africa Safari Arusha Lodge to anyone visiting Tanzania.

The staff were very welcoming and professional, from the receptionist to the people working at the restaurant. The garden is great to relax and the rooms are very beautiful and clean.

Its not really a downside, and we knew it beforehand, but there is not much to do by door in the neighborhood. So plan to stay in the garden / restaurant / pool.

It was an oasis in the heart of Arusha. So many thoughtful details and touches everywhere. Exceptionally clean and incredible farm to table food. Wonderful, happy staff.

The road to the property was off the beaten track. But so worth it!!

Jeg synes at maden var rigtig god og der var et godt udvalg. Der var også et hyggeligt udeområde og poolen var også fin.

Da vi skulle betale for ophold, havde personalet sendt deres kortmaskine til respiration, så vi skulle betale med vores kontanter vi skulle bruge til vores safari tur. Jeg synes også at sengene var hårde og værelserne var gamle.

Het was een zeer mooie locatie…eens de poort open ging zat je in het paradijs…mooie bungalow…super goed bed en heel rustig om te slapen ❤️

De weg er naartoe was zeer moeilijk om te bereiken…eens van de vaste route weg is het via moeilijke zandwegen zeer moeilijk om er te geraken want je zit echt ver weg van de route en door het regenseizoen waren er veel putten en heel slecht wegdek waardoor het steeds moeilijk was om vervoer te vinden om je te verplaatsen of ‘s avonds om iemand te vinden die me kon afzetten dus je betaald veel vervoer om activiteiten te doen en de taxi chauffeurs waren er niet voor te vinden om daar te rijden…das het enige negatieve punt…daar moet dringend werk van gemaakt worden omdat dit pareltje daardoor minder in de spotlights staat en ze verdienen het wel echt omdat het zo leuk daar was en zeer mooie locatie 👍
