Close proximity to the airport. Transport to the airport was organised for me by the owner which was great. The rooms and bathroom were basic but exceptionally clean.

On arrival there was little information given. It would be great if this could be improved. I was shown to my room by a friendly person who didn't know the answers to my questions. I was not given a key or explained how things worked at the stay or for check out, or where to go or who to ask for things. It would have been nicer if the owner greeted guests, explained wifi, access etc. It wasn't explained to me that there would be another person who was also staying so after going to bed I had to unlock and let in another guest. They had also not had much explained to them. There was no information in the room about how things worked. No basic tea/coffee or soap/single use bath products provided. This would be great for those that just landed in Fiji.

Everything was very suitable for just 1 night near the airport for an early morning flight the next day.

The only reason why the staff did not get full marks was I did have to wait about 45 minutes for the mother to arrive back home, to check me in. This is presumably because the other adults, unlike the mother, could not communicate in English

"Very affordable and safe homestay close to the airport"

It was very affordable for one nights stay close to the airport. It was safe, the bed was comfy, we got extra sheet when requested and there is a bus stop in the main road, about 7min walk from the homestay. Airport is maybe 15min + walk away. Wifi worked okay, not the strongest signal.

It is a bit out of nowhere, you will have to take the bus to find restaurants and supermarket. Also first my reservation couldn’t be found, then I was charged twice for the room but it was all fixed so no issues in the end.
