The Ship Inn

We have stayed here on 3 previous occasions and all were very good, Breakfast is really good. We had a family dinner for 9 on one of the evenings and it was freat.

Stayed at The Ship Inn while attending a wedding locally and really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious with good amenities and the bed was really comfortable. Had dinner there one night and the food was very high quality and great value for money. Good drink selection too. Breakfast is included and is ordered from a local cafe (served in the hotel restaurant), good quality and portions. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The whole time spent there was excellent. We were both incredibly impressed by the whole experience.

Such a lovely big room! Very nicely decorated. Room was very hot but can’t help that with the weather. There is a clock that goes off just outside but they supply ear plugs which is a nice touch. Shower and bath in our room and very kind lady delivered breakfast to our room when my alarm didn’t go off! Thank you from very tired parents who haven’t had a lay in like that for 5 years 😂

What a gem of a find ! My husband and I stayed here on Saturday evening and were very impressed. We arrived early and were allowed to leave our car in the car park all day while we went off and did what we wanted to do. Once we checked in, we went to our room that looked exactly as it did on line. It was very clean and decorated to a high standard. We had a reservation in the restaurant that evening and the food didn't disappoint. The staff were amazing and so friendly and kept smiles on their faces throughout the entire day/evening even though they were short staffed. We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again. We look forward to our next visit. 😊

The property was very pleasing. Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Nice comfortable room with everything you need. Would definitely stay their again.

Easy to find. William King room has strangely low bed. Shower with plenty of complementary toiletries. Breakfast, prepared by nearby cafe and delivered to restaurant, was delicious. Sunday lunch superb. However, unable to arrange a taxi to High House Wedding Venue, which was the reason for our visit to Burnham. Tried EVERY taxi company recommended by hotel, wedding venue and Google.

We had a fantastic 2 nights with dinner at The Ship Inn. Jasie gave us a warm welcome and was extremely helpful and friendly. The whole team at the Ship Inn were very helpful, friendly and provided us with fantastic service. The lady who welcomed us for breakfast was also very friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Both dinners in the restaurant were superb using great produce, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. We look forward to returning!
