The Westwood Apartments

Great apartments and smart, clean ensuites in all rooms. Shop on site with a deli which was really handy.

Looots of space. For a family it was a bit of an odd experience to all have our own room, bed and private bathroom. A shared kitchen. One of the doorlocks was broken, but skillfully fixed within 15 minutes after arrival. Helpful staff. Spar-to-go is a 50 meter walk. Very clean rooms and kitchen. Loooooots of space.

It's not that i didn't like it, but just to realize that doors automatically shut (fire prevention measure); for a family with four rooms that walk in and out all the time it was a bit of a new experience - we put a towel around the doorhandle. Parking is paid (and outsourced) and reception warned us that they checked frequently, also that reserving a parking place doesn't guarantee one. However, we never had an issue finding a parking place there.

Single rooms for all family members, at the end of the trip to Ireland this was perfect. Lots of room for all eight of us. Also, bus was very convenient for transport to Galway center. Staff was very helpful. Excellent stay.

Cleaning, the lack and inadequacy of the pots (they didn't work with induction cooking)

Extremely clean. Very convenient for a large group. Each had their own bedroom and bathroom. Nice sitting area to cook and visit. Staff was very helpful. We are from Canada but the other four guest are from Northern Ireland 💚
