Montague Villa

Hosts were excellent. Superb location, stunning view. Breakfast was nearly too good.

Too many choices of toppings for the toast. Fridge in room could have been quieter.

Great location with wonderful views across the Firth of Clyde. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Easy parking at the front of the property. Lovely room with nice en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Plenty of tea, coffee, fruit and herbal tea, biscuits and sweets in the room. Plus a very useful fridge with cold water for guests. Breakfast choices continental and full options ordered the day before and were of lovely quality, especially the homemade marmalade and jams. The hosts have taken great care to ensure that their guests are comfortable throughout their stay. We throughly enjoyed our stay at Montague Villa and highly recommend it 100% as a wonderful and convenient place to stay while visiting Argyll and Bute.

Everything and more. Drew and Alison are wonderful hosts and can not do enough to make your stay as comfortable and as memorable as possible. The rooms are beautifully decorated and want for nothing. Fresh milk, cold bottled water, hair straighteners, and every lotion and potion in the bathroom. The breakfast has an amazing choice, I had the smoked salmon with poached eggs cooked to perfection, and my partner had a full scottish/english, the plate was bursting and he said it was so tasty. Thank you both so much, and when we are in Dunoon again, we will not be staying anywhere else. Xx

The B&B overlooks the water and has lovely views with a short drive to town and other activities such as glen walks and the botanic gardens. Host were very welcoming and friendly, upon booking we got a nice message with some links to activities in the area which is helpful when planning in advanced. The room was lovely, comfortable bed and great shower.The hosts also provide a list of places to eat based on their guests and their own experiences. Breakfast was delicious with many options to suit all tastes.

The mini-fridge and fresh milk that came with the room. Good selection of tea and coffee, biscuits, etc. Breakfast was top notch, plus the choices you could have for breakfast.

The room was spotless and the bed was super comfy. The owners were so hospitable and the breakfast was AMAZING and was included in the price of the room. Fantastic value, would definitely book this place again. Free parking and wi-fi. Cannot fault this place.

This B&B is a great choice. Very welcoming and friendly greeting on arrival with ample parking. Room was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was terrific with the added bonus of home made jams!. Overall great experience with terrific hosts. We have no hesitation to recommend.
