Silver Beach Hotel

The hotel is very old fashioned and dated. Our bedroom did have a sea view, but that was about the only good thing about it. The beds were very hard, a bit like sleeping on a wooden board. We had a cupboard to hang a few clothes in, but no drawers or any space to put anything away. We had to keep all of our clothes either in the suitcase or piled on a small table. There were no tea or coffee making facilities and when we asked at the breakfast room for coffee to take to our room we were refused. The bathroom was awful, very old and the shower was a hand held shower in the bath. You couldn't fix it to the wall as it was broken. No shaver/toothbrush plug for charging, or again anywhere to put anything other than the floor. All in all probably the worst hotel we have ever stayed in.

The room was very clean! The hotel itself was in the perfect location with it's own sunbeds. The variety of food and drink was really good. The staff were always very polite.Value for money hotel. We will return for sure!

Perfect location , absolutely helpful and worm staff! Always smiling and ready to help. Food very good with a lot of choices.Hotel is situated just on the beach and few minutes from shops, bars and restaurants. Antonis at reception is a great guy. The ouzo guy! Yamas!

Unfortunately the hotel is very worn and outdated, the bar has very little drinks on the shelves as obviously no one bothers to drink there. The rooms are so outdated and nothing like the few "nicer" rooms they show on the web, despite having a superior with sea view it was pretty depressing, the shower area was so small that it was practically impossible to use the shower, the toilet was also very awkward, it was so close to the shower, which was stupid as the actual bathroom was quite large. The lift was the noisiest ever in a hotel and made it difficult to get a decent nights sleep, the hotel is next to treasure island bar and they advertise "live music" which is in reality just the staff playing instruments (badly) and trying to sing. Very disturbing at night, there is little noise from the customers as most nights it's empty. We were told that the hotel, the bar next door and the former car hire place (now closed) on the corner have all been brought by a developer, it's evident they are deciding what to do and how to develop the site and in the interim are just letting it fall into decay. There's a very odd (and dirty) small pool, but this is neither indoor or outdoor, it's as if it was put as an afterthought many years ago, we never saw anybody use it, it had a very depressing feel to it after years of neglect. When the hotel is knocked down and the site developed it has great potential, as the location is good. The sooner it's knocked down the better as it's really not fit for purpose at present. We saw one couple arrive, went to their room and come back down and demand a refund they were so disappointed, the hotel staff refused and the argument became quite heated and the Police were called. The arguments continued and the tourist even offered to let the Police see the room and how different it was to the on line images, he was right. We only ended up here as a last minute booking (due to forced changes of dates re covid) and it is by far the worst accommodation we have ever stayed in Kos, and it wasn't cheap £458 for a week + Air Con + Safe etc. It was a total rip off and I would urge others to avoid this hotel, there are so many far better (and likely cheaper) options in the village.

I stayed here for two weeks with my friend on a breakfast only basis. All I can say is it was a lovely hotel , with great staff who are all a Credit to the hotel. They helped us a lot and they were all so friendly . The beach is practically right outside the hotel . Even the bars and restaurants were in close proximity and there are lots!! Rooms were clean and freshly painted. The cleaner came every day and put on fresh bedding and gave fresh towels. Everything was clean and the food was good with lots of choice for breakfast. Coffee was so good too ( special Thanks to Angel for fetching our coffee at breakfast and drinks on the beach every day. You really are an angel 😇) Yes it’s a little dated but We really couldn’t fault it. I am looking forward to seeing Silver Beach staff again next year We give this hotel & all the staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For the first time in Kos and one of the main reasons i will come again is this hotel.Very quiet place near the center and by the sea, with excellent and kind staff. Hotel offers very good breakfast and dinner. We hired a scooter from a rental close to the hotel and was more than enough to explore the island. Paradise beach near Kefalos is a must place to visit!

We really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the wonderful hospitality. The food was delicious, beach just opposite of the hotel and city center just 3 minutes walk. We will come again! Thank you so much for this wonderful summer.

It is in the center of the village, has a nice beach just across the street.The main street, the harbour and a big supermarket 1 minute away. The hotel has own beach loungers and beach service. The food was good, plenty of choose from and if you are half board you can choose between lunch and dinner which is really convenient. Breakfast has big variety, coffee is better then usual hotel coffee, for dinner many Greek dishes, lot of salads, no desserts, but lot of melon. The dining was on a open terrace, which was a plus. We had an issue with the room first night, but they found another, better room for us with huge balcony the next day. They fixed everything quickly when there was a small problem with the room. The furniture is old and the bathroom should be renovated, but they clean the rooms everyday, change towels, rooms were also freshly painted. All the staff were polite, friendly and try hard. I recommend it.

Camera al primo piano vista parziale mare. Ampia con balcone, due letti comodi, armadio, frigo, a.c. a pagamento extra 40 euro a sett. Di arredo molto semplice, con TV a parete 2/3 canali RAI. Bagno molto piccolo, doccia con tenda che toglie spazio al potersi lavare. Usata con tenda sollevata e doccino in mano. Colazione semplice con un po' di tutto a buffet. Spiaggia piccola a pagamento o con consumazione. Mini piscina, posizionata di lato mai usata. La sera fino 00,30 musica nel vicino bar di un'altra struttura. Check in lento. Posizione a due passi dal centro. Per vacanza con spirito d'adattamento, per un costo equo. P. S. Per chi scegliesse mezza pensione, bevanda ai pasti compresa è solo acqua.

Śniadania były ok. Ale pokój był słaby, a łazienka tragiczna. Tak jak wybudowali w latach 90 to nic nie remontowali. Basen brudny nie było można z niego korzystać.
