Muskoka Bay Resort

Great property!

We loved the resort and pool area. We had dinner at the restaurant on site which was extremely slow.

Scottie was a great shuttle driver. Awesome personality.

Room was lacking any sort of dresser if you where staying for a few days like we did . No real casual dinner options.

Location is convenient

We brought our 4 granddaughters with us, and the villa was absolutely beautiful. We loved the shuttle from the villa to the pool (very prompt and extremely friendly gentlemen) Our first night stay was relaxing and very nice. However, the same cannot be said for our second night as we had a wedding party next door who were loud and incredibly disrespectful. My husband had to go banging on their door at 4 am which was very upsetting. Needless to say, our littles were not happy or rested the next day (none of us were)

The property is lovely, we had a great meal at Cliffside with a great view on the patio. The one thing that kept me from giving excellent rating was checkout. I stood at the desk to hand in my key about 09:00 Thursday morning and I felt ignored as the desk agent gabbed with a man who did not appear to be a guest as judged by the conversation. I wanted to tell the agent how great the place was as they usually ask as you leave. I left my key without saying anything. I was not impressed. Neither of those people acknowledged me and could have said”l will be right with you.” Otherwise great place for a mini vacation like we had.

Customer service at the front desk of the hotel is pitiful. If I could have cancelled and been refunded I would have done so while checking. The saving grace is the staff at the restaurant on site. Shoutout to Clara for providing exceptional service at dinner. When we choose a resort to stay at moving forward we will stick to Taboo.
