The after hours check in was stressful! The property itself is clean, updated, fabulous location and amazing roof top pool.Their after hours Check-in was terrible. I booked and paid through Expedia, but I received an email from the property stating I needed to do their own check in. They needed a copy of my ID and credit card information for incidentals. After I sent the information, I still needed to call the office twice the day of arrival to get the access codes for the door and elevators. They told me I still needed to come in the next day for on-site check in. I left my family event early to be there prior to the office closing and the office had closed early, I tried several times throughout my stay to do their “mandatory onsite check in and the office was always closed. I received another email stating I needed to come in for checkout to receive my incidental money returned promptly. Again, the office was closed during business hours. It was a constant stress that my access code would be denied and couldn’t access my room due to not completing their required onsite check in, however, the office was always closed during business hours. I’m addition, there are zero sign directing you in the parking garage when you arrive. I walked all over the parking garage at night upon arrival trying to locate the elevators and point of entry, which was very frustrating.

Great place and location. No safety issues. Love the rooftop pool, view, rooms and area.

Location is close to beach with lots of energy of coffee and restaurants and surf shops. MJ who manages this location is incredible and so accommodating. She is on top of everything and very responsive. We had an internet issue during our stay and she was at our door in minutes with IT and fixed it. We came to the coast to surf and she made sure we had parking under cover. Truly an incredibly well managed resort.

I was very pleased with this property and really wanted to buy a condo here but they said no condos are for sell. Only rentals. Very cute, apartment-type stay. The only drawback is the door opens out and there is no real way to double lock it or put something up against it for added security. Overall, the unit was super cute and cozy and I highly recommend.

The location and ease of this property is what every guest needs. Starting with communication, MJ was great. She answered any questions we had and was pleasant at all times. The rooms are spacious and clean with rental home amenities. Rooftop pool and view splendid. I’d definitely recommend to anyone. The property isn’t huge which is a plus for more intimate gatherings

What a treat! We have been traveling to this area for years. Location is ideal- close to everything including the beach, shops and great restaurants. We have never stayed at Vistalmar, but we will again! The facility was spotless, the customer service was outstanding and the room was fabulous!
