The staff, especially Paola and Angel, were very nice. The mattress was comfortable. Paola did a good job cleaning.

On arrival the woman who attended me by phone was not friendly. It seemed like I was an inconvenience for her. On the property listing page the first highlight is "Kitchen - Kitchenette, Refrigerator, Kitchenware." Since none of the 10 room options listed a kitchen, I believed all must have a kitchen or kitchenette. On arrival I was given a small basic hotel room. I showed them what the property listing says, and they moved me to a room with a kitchen. However there were no plates, bowls, or cooking pans - only one dirty table knife, a dirty plastic spatula, a couple of coffee cups, and a sharp knife (see photo.) The next day I asked for two plates, glasses, silverware, frying pan, pot and basic cooking implements. They promised to bring it to the room. The following day nothing arrived so I asked someone else. They brought plates, glasses, and a small frying pan - but no silverware or other items. I asked again, but they never did bring anything else. As it turns out, of the maybe 15 or so rooms only two have kitchen areas. Apparently there is not actually cookware or tableware. So "kitchen" should be removed from the web listing. Also I never saw or heard anything about massage services. Overall, this is not a "9" property, more like a "7." Not a great value for the price. And with mediocre sea views from most levels.

Nice pool. The room itself was decent and clean. The woman who checked us in was pleasant. Bed was comfortable.

We were given a room right by the door and reception which wasn’t great and the blinking Christmas lights outside our room were disruptive once we turned off our lights. The church bells across the street were very very loud at 5am, 6am and 7am which isn’t their fault, but future guests should be aware. Location isn’t great, pretty hilly so be warned if you have much luggage. A night was ok, but wouldn’t want to stay for much longer unfortunately.

Cons: Expedia said Spanish/English language. NOBODY at the hotel speaks English. Pool hours close at 9pm. Pool was in operation till 11:00 pm on 3 of 6 nights and quite noisy as a result. Pets not allowed - yet noticed dog poop outside our door twice. After 6 days the room safe still not operational. While the staff was polite and friendly they didn’t seem overly concerned about much. It does not seem to them that they are running a hotel. Stay was OK but we expected much more given the price and the generally glowing reports.

The room is tidy and equipped with cooking appliances. It has air conditioning, which is very important in this area due to the hot and humidity regions. The kitchen has a door that separates it from the room, helping to keep the room cool. The bathroom has sufficient hot water. The staff have a good attitude and are willing to help with any inquiries or issues. There is a water dispenser near the reception where you can get hot or cold water. There is a swimming pool, but I didn't have time to enjoy it. Surrounded is quiet, good for sleep!

The hotel is at the end of a long road, and you have to walk up a long slope or stairs. This can be troublesome if you have large luggage or are carrying too many things. There aren't many dining options nearby, so you have to go to the beach or the bus stop area. Additionally, during my stay, there was a power outage, and when walking back to the hotel, the entire road had no streetlights, which made me worry it could be dangerous. Also, the bathroom doesn’t have a shower curtain, so water splashes everywhere when taking a shower.

Perfect location and super comfortable.

The wifi wasn’t very strong.
