B&B Palazzo del Capitolo - By I Bastioni San Domenico

Camera di grande carattere all'interno di un cortile meraviglioso, colazione buonissima in una terrazza da lasciare senza fiato (situata nell'hotel a due passi) dove abbiamo trovato uno staff sempre cordiale e premuroso. Un saluto speciale a Scheggia e Charlie ma soprattutto alla signora Piera che ha veramente reso tutto perfetto. A presto...

Très sympathique B&B au coeur du centre historique. Très charmant, dans une petite cour intérieure. Hyper calme compte tenu du côté très touristique de la ville. Petit déjeuné compris à prendre sur le rooftop de l'hôtel du même nom situé à 5 minutes à pied, très recommandé, la vue est magnifique!

Garer sa voiture aux alentours du centre historique est une gageure! Mais on y arrive avec de la patience ;-) Vous avez la possibilité de faire le tour de la ville pour déposer vos affaires... nous y avons renoncé car il est impossible de s'arrêter et les rue sont très très étroites!

We booked our room through Bastioni San Domenico - Boutique Hotel, but the actual accommodation we were given did not match the quality or style associated with Bastioni San Domenico. The connection between the two hotels was misleading. There was no breakfast included, and I was not given the room I had reserved.

We were unable to check in for our first night due to an unexpected illness, and although I contacted the property (through Hotels.com) to explain the situation, they were unwilling to offer any flexibility or even a partial reduction. I understand the stated cancellation policy, but I had hoped for at least a small gesture of goodwill, especially since we arrived in time for the second night and had contacted them promptly to explain the situation. This kind of rigid approach feels short-sighted, as it leaves the impression that in such a tourist-heavy location, individual guests don’t really matter. The property itself was fine once we arrived, but the experience with the policy left a poor impression.
