Landal Katschberg

Het weer zat helaas niet mee, maar daar kan niemand iets aan doen. Verder was alles helemaal top. Zeer ruim appartement met voldoende voorzieningen (potten, pannen, borden, bestek etc)

We hadden op voorhand een bestelling geplaatst voor broodjes de eerste ochtend en deze was niet doorgegeven. Voor ons niet zo n probleem. We waren op vakantie, waren mobiel en hadden tijd. Maar mish op letten voor gezinnen met kleine kinderen.

Bergluft, Ausblick, Alpenflair. Freundliches Personal. Durch die Lage auf 1700m kann man der Sommerhitze gut entfliehen. Schöne, typische Restaurants oben auf dem Katschberg. Sehr gute Betten.

Ein etwas in die Jahre gekommener Park. Bitte das Müllsystem überdenken!!! Billardtisch, Tischkicker waren kaputt. Poolhaus sehr laut und vom Stil her nicht zum relaxen geeignet. Rezeption mit Café war ab 17 Uhr zu! Durch die Häuserenge sehr hellhörig. Man denkt, man frühstückt beim Nachbarn mit.

The location of Landal is very good—it is just above children's slope, and the first lift is about 100 meters from the reception. This is convenient if your accommodation is near the reception, but if it’s farther away, carrying skis and ski boots can be a bit of a hassle, though still manageable. The apartments are clean and well-maintained. In the past few years, they have undergone some minor cosmetic improvements, but nothing significant. A major advantage is their spaciousness—if a family of six stays in one apartment, there is plenty of room, and it doesn’t feel crowded. In the apartment, we were provided with a dish sponge and four dishwasher tablets, kettle as well as with a Nespresso machine. Capsules can be purchased at the reception. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The pillows are old and uncomfortable. We also didn’t like that we had to pay €11 per person for towels—not for a replacement, but just to have them in the first place. In my opinion, if the accommodation costs €450 per day, towels should be included in the price. Additionally, there were no kitchen towels in the apartment (which likely requires an extra charge as well).

Our experience started on a bad note. Upon arrival, we were informed that towels were not provided unless we paid €11.50 for a set (one small and one large towel). This was never mentioned during booking via Booking.com. We also had to make our own bed sheets, which was not communicated in advance. Adding to the frustration, the sofa bed was broken, and we had to sleep on it for one night before it could be addressed. The sofa itself is a disaster—definitely not suitable for two adults. We gave the big bed to our kids, as we usually do, but this made our stay even more uncomfortable. The pool was okay—not warm but not freezing. However, the general area was cold, and we didn’t want to risk our kids getting sick, so we only used it once. To top it off, there was no hand soap in the bathroom, which felt like the bare minimum that could have been provided. At departure, we were again surprised to find that we were expected to strip the beds and handle general cleaning of the apartment ourselves—none of this was communicated beforehand. Overall, while the concept isn’t inherently bad, we felt misinformed and unwelcome. For travelers like us, who value clear communication and basic hospitality, this was a disappointing experience. Definitely not returning.

Apartment is comfortable and excellent choice for family with small children. Apartment is very warm with additional fireplace to complete winter cabin experience. Kitchen is very well equipped, with all accessories you will need. Every apartment has its own ski locker. I recommend ordering fresh bakery every morning at reception

The resort is located close to the ski lifts. Convenient covered parking.
