"Superb"

Fine hotel with good food and brekky, right on the Rennsteig - we were hiking that one. Really all very positive so I can be short! Nice hosts too!

It didn't bother me but my hiking friend said there were quite a lot of trucks passing the hotel at night, probably because of the factories in the (small) village. So if you are a light sleeper maybe ask a room on the quietest side.

Typical inn for hikers along the Rennsteig, very friendly and dedicated owner, solid dinner and very good breakfast. Rooms were very clean and newly renovated. Parking spaces directly at the house.

The single room we booked was quite small as per the description on booking. The street in front of the house is quite busy.
