Menominee River Extended Stay Hotel

Nice newer motel style hotel. Has everything needed for longer term stays and very private.

This was an interesting, no-front-desk property with a handy kitchenette, which could have used a few more dishes & pans. The dark furnishings were striking, but dusty and somewhat smeary when we arrived, so I cleaned a bit before settling in. They probably just need to change an air filter on the A/C unit. The wand on the one window wouldn't let us open blinds partially, there was no mattress pad on the bed and for a three nights stay, we were only given 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel per person. We texted Saturday to see if we could get more, but didn't hear back.We had an ice bucket, but there were no directions on where to find an ice machine, ditto on the complimentary laundry. The rooms were nice and quiet, but the outside doors to enter the hall leading to all the rooms was never locked, in spite of having keypads on them. That was a bit unsettling. We would definitely would try a second stay, because we liked having a kitchen to prepare some meals and the quiet location.

Had a good experience. Easy check-in. The room was clean and spacious.

Self check-in and easy instructions. The property is pretty new and clean. Nothing much to do on the lot but worked very well for one night sleep. The only noticeable downside is the requirement to take all the sheets and towels and the fresh out. While it's not too hard to do. For one night stay this seem to be an overhead to ask

Ok place to stay the night

No ice; neither freezer trays nor a working ice machine! Coffee maker filthy. I had to wash entire maker. Slide out freezer drawer filthy. Ice cube bucket, even tho had no ice, wash filthy; appeared like dried bbq sauce. Very limited eating utensils silverware, and plates. Even tho we upgraded to the full size kitchen, fridge Etc.

Room was like new. Asked if there was a stove, and a new double burner hot plat was there upon our arrival. We were informed after our arrival that we could get new towels Sunday and Tuesday, rare for an extended stay. Place was quiet, nice furnishings, kitchen for two, all appeared to be new.
