SOVA Micro-Room & Social Hotel

Place was great. Knew I was getting a quick, cheap, easy place with no bells and whistles and it overdelivered with that in mind. Parking lots around are NOT safe. Your belongings WILL be stolen. Take everything you value inside immediately.

Er is weinig om enthousiast over te zijn. Het bed was ok. Dat was het wel.

Ze doen interessant met hun “welkom in de kleinste kamer van Dallas”, maar dat is niet bepaald iets goeds hoor. Het deed me het meest denken aan een kruising tussen een kleine bezemkast en een deprimerende ziekenhuiskamer. Het is gehorig, de kamer heeft géén ramen, er is geen koffie, thee of waterkoker op de kamer, geen koelkastje, geen rek of stoel om spullen op te leggen, geen kledingkastjes oid. Eigenlijk is er niets. Het is schandalig eigenlijk voor de prijs die ze vragen. Ik ben zo blij dat ik hier maar 2 nachten was en eigenlijk was dat al een nacht teveel. Ik ben een maand in Dallas geweest en heb meerdere hotels en motels gehad in dezelfde prijscategorie en dit was écht de minste. Ook qua locatie. Het is oké, maar niet meer dan dat. Andere hotels liggen echt veel beter. Als je moét, omdat er geen alternatief is, dan kun je het doen voor een nachtje, maar geloof mij nou: hier wil je geen vakantie vieren hoor :(

The rooms are very small. Almost claustrophobic. Although it is a micro hotel. I did not like the experience.

Economical, clean and easy to book. Friendly staff

Walls are very thin and some beds and TVs share a wall so if you have a disrespectful and noisy neighbor then you will be in for a rough time. You can try to notify the front desk or request a room change if available but the noise is def a concern.

Nice little hotel! Activities available throughout the week but especially on the weekend. The room was small but perfect for 1-2 people. Perfect for solo travelers, felt safe the entire time. Bar located downstairs with great drink specials. Coworking and lounging space downstairs. Rooms are not very sound proof, can hear people in the hallways but overall very quiet. Clean place and hi-tech toilets in the room. Close to parks, restaurants, bars, cafes, and nightlife. Easy check-in and check-out experience, friendly staff!
