A lovely private cottage next to a great pub.
A great location to access heritage sites at Chepstow, Monmouth and Tintern. I was made very welcome by all at The Lion. I recommend the food options which they will even deliver to the cottage on request. Many thanks.
The cottage was very comfy and very clean. Debs was lovely and made such a fuss of our puppy. The pub was welcoming and again everyone made our puppy feel welcome which we were worried about.
Property was reasonably spacious and well equipped for our needs. The pub had building work going on so the parking area was a bit untidy. The pub food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Would happily stay again if in the area.
Wonderful location , with great staff, pub food and beer. Surpisingly quiet, given you are in the pub car park!

Such a vcery freindly place to stay ,Staff and locals alike .the room is big enough for 2 and our dog with plenty of facilities.The pub ajacent has a great selection of beers and the food is excellent
