Treasure Island 0408

The location was nice! Front desk check in lady was nice and had me in and out in just a few short minutes (since I completed all paperwork online before arriving). The beach was great and Josh the guy that sets up the chairs every morning was wonderful. The elevators worked great. The pool and hot tub was clean. Even the bathrooms by the pool were clean. The assigned parking spot is nice as long as only one car is registered. See below for more details on what went wrong.

My son came with us, we registered his car as a second car and paid the extra fee. He had to park in a non assigned parking spot. His car was hit and none of the employees could help figure out who the car belonged to that hit his car, even though it was parked right next to him. And the tag had to be Registered with the front office. The paint and dents matched up. The bay county sheriff office said they don’t come out to parking garage accidents and finally after 3 days the on-sight security guard came to give a police report. Said he reviewed the cameras and couldn’t see if the car that was still parked, in the same spot, with the same damage, who was at fault. also this same car parked so close to the building it hit the wall in the parking garage. Upon our own investigation we found out the other car belonged to another condo owner and they didn’t want to say anything to them. Pool gate codes do not work, had to go in the office to get a back up code to get in and out the gates at the pool and to the beach. The pool deck (only seen at night, daytime none seen) had thousands of cockroaches. Big ones and little ones and some with wings. The hallway to the pool had them everywhere too. We didn’t see them anywhere else but it was gross. Once we got to the room and opened the door the handle came off the door. Once inside the room it was smelly, floors had not been swept or mopped. The bathtub in the first bathroom had soap with pubic hairs on it left from previous residents. The glass shower doors were off track and a piece was broken and laying in the tub. The toilet seat was not even latched on the toilet. There were no towels and only a half of a role of toilet paper in that bathroom. There was a bottle of half used hand soap left on the counter and not even cleaned up from it. The dryer did not work. It had a note that said to use the time dry cycle but even that would not get the clothes dry.
