Tradewinds Motel

It has a bus stop nearby and it was easy to get to my stop. I stayed here for almost a week.

When we arrived the room had roaches and the bed was squeaky. When we tried to watch the TV it said “parental code needed.” We contacted the front desk for assistance and he said he’d come to the room to fix it. He came into our room and tried fixing the TV and was extremely rude. When I tried to change the channel he snatched the remote out of my hand and began to scream at us. We asked if we could just refund the room and he said we couldn’t get a refund. We then went to the front desk and asked for a refund and my ID. After multiple weeks got our ID back.

The lack of customer service, lack of cleanliness, and lack of professionalism. Why was he screaming at his customers? Why was there roaches in the room? Why were the beds squeaky?

The ceiling was nice .

Value pricing doesn't mean administrative check-in and out like an uncover mission. There was so much documentation, printing of private ID info. and then a knock at the door right at 11am by management. Distasteful service, a "no-tell, mo-tell" vibe. What the heck? The hotel is located in a decent residential area not seedy downtown district in the "red-light area."

Everything was great! Spacious room for one, bed was comfy. I really, really liked the decor. Kudos to their interior decorator. I mean it’s not the Taj Mahal, but attention was paid to detail, i.e. the blue curtains matched the door and the blue specs in the tile floor perfectly. The blue theme carried throughout the room and I appreciate the time it took to coordinate all that. Oh! Let’s not forget the friendly staff, very kind young gentlemen.
