The decoration is in real need of upgrading. The paintwork is grubby in many places and peeling off in the bathroom.

The staff is been nice. The bathroom was good.

The room and the corridor unfortunatly had a subtle weird smell.as we arrived and that was a bit unwelcoming, after we kept the window open it almost went away from the room but from the corridor it was still coming. The room didn't felt too clean.

Warm welcome on arrival. Friendly staff, we would also like to say that Meg was very polite and extremely friendly and professional, not just on the phone the day before our arrival but also when we had tea in the restaurant. Not only was she attentive and gave some recommendations from the evening menu, but paid lots of loving attention to our dog Dave.
