"What a great place!"

The Moonlight Beach Motel is an absolute gem. I'm so impressed that I'm doing my first Tripadvisor review! The location is fantastic and the rooms are clean and in great condition. But what really rounded out the experience for me was the that the staff was consistently so friendly, kind, and helpful. What a place!

"It is hands down my happy place."

I love this place I found it 10 years ago and have gone back as often as I can. It’s affordable, proximity to the beach and everything else in Encinitas is perfect! And it’s clean and comfortable. I love its simplicity.

Nice spacious room with a balcony and view of the ocean. Great location, walk for great coffee and dining close by. The housekeeping is exceptional, very thorough. Shout out to Jennifer, who cares for the property as if it were her own.

Great location within walking distance to the beach, restaurants and shops. Room was quite specious. Good parking.

Heaps of unsupervised teenagers screaming at all hours of the day and night. Weird layout in the bathroom with no vanity and zero space to put any toiletries. Asked for a second blanket and they didn't have any (weird).
