D Sands Rentals

The place looks right on the beach. Tide pools to the north on the beach were awesome at low tide. Tons of star fish. If you have mobility issues get a first floor room, no elevators. Parking is tight.

Good hotel

We were rather disappointed in that what was presented was not reality. Their stated policy was NO pets. many of the other places here had their pets with them. Perhaps that is why the carpet in our unit was so badly stained. also their stated policy was NO smoking within 20 feet of the building. we observed many people smoking just outside their doors. The unit above us to the north was smoking marijuana. The policy also stated that feeding the wildlife / seagulls was discouraged. we observed several units feeding the gulls. We are not too pick and usually easily satisfied. We do feel though if you are going to have a bunch of rules they should be enforced. This was our first time staying at D Sands and will probably be our last.

We had a wonderful stay. Enjoyed an amazing sunset every night. A few maintenance issues; bathroom fan didn’t work, rubber around the door needs replaced, and the plastic chairs on the balcony need replaced. Gave 5 stars for location, cost, comfort, and cleanliness.

Difficult parking, rooms alittle outdated. Everything else good

in 121 the fan don’t work in the rest room and electricity by the bed will not work right please check it out

Room was comfortable and the view was great definitely needs upgrades seams like a work in progress kind of room holes in wall from the rocker chair need patched and painted the tub had hair and was patched with some kind of spackle from a previous crack the furniture is older but functional would recommend more pictures in the room to make it feel more welcoming but over all we enjoyed our stay and would like to come back in the future

You're paying for the ocean view. Very basic. Was not disappointed or super happy with the stay.
