We were not happy with our stay here. The room smelled like a smokers house and everything was overly used and needed to be replaced. It felt like nothing had been updated since 1970. The walls were peeling, the carpet very stained and there was hair hanging from the “fresh” towels and the bathtub also had hair in it. To top it all off, this trip was for my husbands birthday and we specifically picked this rental because of the hot tub amenity, and it was CLOSED, taped off with caution tape, and the pool was disgustingly dirty, appeared to have never been pressure washed to clear the scum from the sides. There was also a bed just hanging out in the parking atea and nothing about this place was inviting. Needless to say, we won’t be back and this room was so not worth the price paid.

It was a nice get away. Hot tub was amazing, but the pool is NOT HEATED . So we unfortunately could not use it because it was freezing. This was one of the reasons we chose a hotel with a pool, this time of year to get a little more exercise.

Great Ocean views but our room definitely needed some maintenance. The bathroom shower stall was in disrepair and drywall water damage in multiple areas in the unit... Couch was hard as a rock....beds are great, overall very roomy ...would recommend some routine maintenance

We loved our stay. We came to celebrate my son's birthday for the weekend, and with the rain it was amazing to just relax and enjoy the view of the ocean from our room. We will definitely be returning.

We love staying at D Sands, its roomy and comfortable! Definitely our go to place to stay when visiting lincoln city!
