Holiday Cabin Sleeps 5 Glan Gwna Holiday Park

Title: Extremely Disappointing and Misleading** We booked this cabin expecting a cozy, well-maintained retreat in the woods, but what we got was an absolute nightmare. The photos online are completely misleading! The cabin is old, rundown, and in dire need of repairs. The walls were peeling, the furniture was worn and uncomfortable, and the whole place had a musty smell that made it hard to breathe. The amenities were practically non-existent—no Wi-Fi, a broken TV, and the kitchen appliances were ancient and barely functional. The bed was uncomfortable, and the linens looked like they hadn't been washed in years. To top it off, the place was filthy, with dust and cobwebs everywhere. This is not the charming getaway we were promised, but rather a neglected, depressing shack. Avoid this place at all costs. It's a far cry from the relaxing escape they advertise. I regret every moment spent here.

The property is stunning, perched on a hilltop and boasting breathtaking views. It comes equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, ensuring that you have everything you need to prepare meals. The hot water runs like a dream, and the heating system keeps the space wonderfully cosy. The surrounding park is simply beautiful. Overall, this property has incredible potential, and I sincerely hope that the owners secure the necessary funding to give it a well-deserved refurbishment.

I found the property to be quite disappointing due to the overwhelming smell, which I found unbearable. The cleanliness left much to be desired, and I was particularly disturbed by the state of the duvet or blanket, which appeared to not have been washed between guests. The unpleasant smell and the uncertainty about the cleanliness of the bedding made it impossible for me to get a good night's sleep. While the bed sheet and pillowcases were clean, the duvet was not, which was quite unsettling. I was grateful that it was only a one-night stay.

Peaceful location. Handy to towns. Lodge was comfatable and well equipped. Clean and easy to get to.

We booked this mainly because of the swimming pool for our little boy advertised by booking .com but doesn’t open till the end of May so this was a big disappointment for us ,so should be more clear , also no Wi-Fi , also could do with instructions on how to turn the shower on as the switch is located in a cupboard in the lounge, Apart from this it’s a great location clean and tidy and the host was good

We were surprised that we had to pay extra for heat in the property by purchasing heat credit. The property had a horrible Mildeu smell, which was present even with the windows open. Inside, it was very tired and very small. There is no way it sleeps five comfortably. The larger bed in the main bedroom was uncomfortable with a worn-out foam mattress. It was so painful that I went outside and slept in my car. Additionally, when I woke up, I had beetles crawling on my feet. After we returned home we found ants throughout all our laundry. The bathroom was also tiny. The second bedroom had a single bed with a bunk bed on top, which required two people to sleep in the single bed and one in the bunk bed to accommodate five people. There was no way five people slept there comfortably. We felt so uncomfortable we left after one night of a two-night reservation and drove home. On a positive note the staff in the Holiday park office were very nice and professional. They were very helpful when we initially arrived - the problem was the property is not maintained by the owner.

Property needs a clean. The sheets were dirty and smelly. Everything needs a wash and the property needs a deep clean. It even smells of damp

The location of the park and the park itself is good. Lots of great outdoor activities to do on the doorstep.

We were put in a different cheaper cabin on arrival as they had double booked, (but lied that there was a pipe problem) and it was very unsatisfactory, it smelt fusty and mouldy, it was damp and just generally unclean. The toilet leaked every time you flushed it and the shower was disgusting. The outside areas had not been cleaned and tidied in God knows how long, weeds growing everywhere, broken chairs and mouldy cushions. We left a day early as we couldn't stand the smell anymore even though we were only using the cabin to sleep. When I complained and asked for the price difference for being put in a cheaper cabin they provided me with more lies even though I saw with my own eyes 2 different lots of guests going into the cabin we should have been in. I honestly have never stayed in such an awful cabin that is run so professionally.

Location was good the location and holiday camp was great

Cleanliness was poor, it smells of damp. Every day/Morning our clothes were damp. A dirty ashtray left outside which caused flies, I had to clean outside on order for my Grandson to play outside. I had to go out to by cleaning supplies. it seemed that someone has gone in changed the duvet covers and towels and left the rest dirty.
