avid hotels - Savannah South - Gateway by IHG

The location as it is on the outer part of city but still close to some stores. Also liked the friendly staff, free breakfast and the beds are comfy.

A room with a bigger shower would be the only suggestion I have.

Always stop at The Shellhouse when going South, like walking across the parking lot. No carpet in rooms.

Little pricey, but feels clean & safe.

I like how it was in a more secluded area and was close to gas stations and restaurants

There’s nothing I didn’t like

The room was clean, fresh, very comfortable

The only thing I didn’t like was the floor of the shower was not cleaned properly

Hotel was very clean and beds were amazingly comfortable!

Staff were very lazy and rude as hell. We had to call multiple times about the people above us making noise and nothing was resolved. We asked for towels and tissue and they told us we had to come get it because they were busy just for us to get downstairs and they were on their phone sitting behind the desk.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and professional.

The surrounding area doesn’t fit the hotel but overall no complaints.

Property was good

The only thing I didn’t like is that I had a Do not disturb sign on my room door and when I left the hotel housekeeper still came inside my room and left towels even though I had already gotten fresh clean towels from housekeeper before I left my room and still they went inside..

The front desk staff was very nice. The lobby was clean and smelled good.

The bed wasn’t that comfortable to me. And the person over my head just kept stomping. I did complain to the front desk and it did stop for a min but started back up.
