Sorrisniva Arctic Wilderness Lodge

L’emplacement avec chambre vue panoramique sur la rivière, très bel établissement immense, jolie décoration, très bons diner et petit déjeuner au Laavu et la possibilité de visiter l’hôtel Igloo, à ne pas manquer !

We spent 4 nights at this amazing Wilderness Lodge. From great amenities over a very friendly team to the most amazing activities - everything combined made it one of the most amazing trips! It’s the perfect winter break!

It is exactly as it looks in the pictures. We saw northern lights and the room was wonderful. Ice hotel Is next door and very approachable. The design of the building is lovely with quiet rooms and heavy doors, lots of wood, and it’s situated next to the Alta river. The food in both restaurants was good. Welcome drink is nice offer. I felt the ala carte breakfast was not necessary.

It’s very expensive to stay here. Given that, the sauna and relax room is not private yet you’re paying for it. The floor in the sauna needs to be wooden so it doesn’t get so hot. They need a cold plunge in this area, the jacuzzi water wasn’t clear enough in either salt or chlorinated ones.

Sorrisniva is in a fabulous setting. The staff could not have been more helpful. The food and experiences were remarkable. We got to see the Northern Lights, go dog sledding, have a trip in the forest with reindeer and a drink in the ice bar. Just relaxing in the wonderful lodge enjoying the views was a delight. The food in the Maku restaurant is World Class.

Views amazing, ice hotel fantastic, staff who did our excursions were fabulous. Restaurant needs work as slow service and things were forgotten. Transfers VERY expensive - would recommend people to use Alta Taxi instead - 1/4 of price!
